Okay guys, I know I don’t post about football but this is a very sad time and I need to say it. So just don’t read if you’re not interrested.
So, I’m a huge fan of AC Milan since i’m like 13. And these three guys…Well, they are so important to this club. They made me dream. I cried of joy and sadness with them. Inzaghi retire, Gattuso leave to another club and so does Nesta. And this makes me so, so sad, you have no idea. These three men were on the team since the first match I watched. I love them so much. I’m so glad my dad took me to Milan to see them play for my 18 birthday. I can’t describe how amazing it was. I just can’t describe how much I love them. So I just wanted to say “Thank you”. For all the feelings I had with you. And I will always remember you and love you because you truly made the golden years of the amazing team that is AC Milan.

Pippo Inzaghi Goodbye Letter.
MILAN – Everything that you’re about to read is secondary to this. The first and foremost thing that I want you all to know is I played and won for “us”. Playing and winning without sharing the emotion is nothing, but you and me, us, we did it all together. We hoped, suffered, celebrated and rejoiced. We lifted cups and won titles together in our hearts. We have always been on the same wavelength. And no one can ever take that away from us.
Dear Milan fans, when I got to the club you didn’t know this. I was in a hotel room and couldn’t leave so as not to compromise the negotiations between Juventus and Milan. The first weeks, the first months, you studied me and we watched each other.
Then we fell in love. That evening against Torino. You were angry, things weren’t going well on the field and you were in silence. I started warming up and the roar you gave me made us win the match, pushing us into the Champions League and towards that final in Manchester. These memories as well as all those who consoled me in the difficult months of 2004 and 2005 and the shivers down the spine that we felt on 9 August 2006, my birthday against Stella Rossa will always be in the bedside drawer of my heart.
Athens. Football given to us for one reason: me and you, us, we wanted is so strongly, so intensely that it had to be given. Of course the reality went beyond our wildest dreams. 2 goals, against Liverpool, 2 years after Istanbul, the seventh Champions League. Destiny gave us more than we had dared hope.
Today I would like to thank with affection and emotion President Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani: their electricity and their ability to transmit emotion for me made me stronger and pushed me beyond any and all limits. But I also want to give a thought to those who, from the youth sector to all the wonderful clubs that I’ve played for, helped me to become the man and the player that I am today.
Thank you Milan, thank you football. Allow me to call you my own, the people of Via Turati, from Milanello to the offices to the phone operators to the warehouse workers, the physiotherapists, the doctors, the cooks, from the stadium to the changing room. All the people who saw me on Sunday with the short sleeves and shook with the hope that I would score. Ciao Carlo Ancelotti, I won a lot with you. Ciao to my wonderful fans who followed me the world over with affection and passion. Ciao to my team mates from today and yesterday.
Last of all allow me to thank my family, my mother Marina, my father Giancarlo, Simone and Tommaso. I never would have got here without you. You’re my strength. My dear Milan, I’m leaving you only because that the way life goes. The moment has come and you know it as well.
Ciao and thanks to everyone,
Pippo Inzaghi.
now give me my space and time to cry. a lot. T-T

BRING YOUR SISTER!: HELENA'S INTERVIEW, PART ONE.
Hi everyone. Someone was kind enough to post the entire interview that ran in Wellness Magazine a few weeks ago. I tried to make sense of what Google was translating for me so hopefully I didn’t do too badly. This is a pretty long interview that will be broken up into parts because who wants to read a wall of text? Stay tuned for the other parts! In the eyes of others, she is a glamorous woman who lives life of luxury with one of the world’s best paid soccer player. In her own, she is a tomboy from the country as got together with 11 years younger Zlatan Ibrahimovic. For Wellness says mother of two Helena Seger that she feels insecure at large events, feel best when she can lift heavy weights - and once considered purchasing a mummy.
We meet a wolf introduction Monday night at the Grand Hôtel and go into a secluded part of the bar. She is dressed in black - like a trashy femme fatale - in short leather jacket, jeans that sits tightly over the hips straight and boots with high, sharp heel that echo the wood floor. Only after we have sat down in each his club chair, I see her eyes. She pushes up the dark pilot goggles on his forehead and face challenging my eye. It is minutes before she’ll give his second interview - and Helena Seger looks like she is standing next to the plan and want to be with and play, but not really know what to do.
The outside world wanted to interview her ever since she started dating Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but it was only last winter that she took her first step out of the media shadow. In January she was elected as the 2010 best-dressed woman at the Elle Awards, received the award at the Grand Hôtel scene and was featured on Micah Bindefeld after party with all the celebrities and journalists.
She just wanted to go home.
“I had nothing to do there. I stood in a corner and felt totally wrong in my crazy dress and thought, ‘What am I doing here?’ We’re rubes who never go out. Sometimes Zlatan and I go out for dinner, but we never go to such events and party.”Helena talks on as if she would like to begin the next sentence before she finished the last, with a slightly hoarse voice and dialect that tell about growing up outside of Örebro. Gala dress, which she mentions, was a couture creation worth almost half a million crowns that she was able to borrow from designing duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana - who she lives next to in Milan.
“There is no glamor in my life!”
It sounds glamorous - but she shakes her head.
“There is no glamor in my life! There is just something that people have gotten the idea. I am a jeans and t-shirt girl who does the cooking, folding laundry and taking care of the kids. We provide no maid, I do not want strangers taking care of my personal stuff.”It is only in public as she appears in luxurious creations.
“On such occasions, I usually borrow a dress. I am financially smart and do not think it’s worth spending a lot of money on something that I wear during one night. Instead do I deposit some money to a relief organization in designer’s name please.”Her words are a contrast to what I see. Her hair is like a välfönad halo around her face, she has a fur scarf by Louis Vuitton over those muscular shoulders, a belt from Dior on the athletic waist and shiny jeans from Acne over trimmed thighs. She states that she likes to express themselves with clothes.
“I have one closet to get and it is clear that I feel a little more secure of myself when I dress up myself for something special. I want to polish the surface in the same way as I enjoy driving one clean car or have that clean and tidy home, but usually I slide around in baggy jeans and Converse.”Diamonds sparkle from her ears and cuffs, a bracelet from Hermes and one Rolex in platinum. She looks down at the watch and exclaims:
“However this is the only one I own, and this is also wrong. It shows that the clock is twenty two and it’s Wednesday!”She laughs defiantly:
“I will not make it either.”TO BE CONTINUED.
Fuck Yeah WAGs: Helena Seger
Born in 1970, making her 11 years older than Zlatan. Helena Seger moved to Zlatan’s hometown, Malmö, at 17. She started out working as a bartender and a model, but then got the job as a clothing shop assistant. Rapidly working her way up to shop manager, she was then hired as account manager at…
THE SCANS I USED ARE NOT MINE!
If they’re yours and you want me to remove this graphic, I’ll do so. :)
i love this! *O*
What do you mean, women? There is one woman, only!
— Zlatan Ibrahimovic (via fywags)
Haha, they’re impressed with her for standing with me, you mean? At this point we’ve known each other for about 7-8 years, that’s quite some time. It’s felt right all along. She’s gotten to know me, she understands what I’m about. I’ve gotten to know her, I understand what she’s about. And she isn’t phased by my job, she knows I’ll have to stay away a lot. She knows how it works.
We talk a lot. She’ll tell me her ideas on all these issues. She’s so fucking smart, she’s so intelligent. I don’t mean to brag about her, but she just is. And she’s wicked in the kitchen. Okay, I’ll brag about that
